Economic Stimulus = Cheap Green Heat

Heating your home can soon be less expensive than it's been in years. The recently passed economic stimulus package includes a tax credit to anyone purchasing a high efficiency biomass burning appliance in 2009 and 2010. A list of qualifying appliances has not been released by the IRS yet, but will likely include most of our wood and pellet burning stove/insert products. The credit will amount to 30% of the cost of all aspects of the purchase- up to $1500 for a $4,500 purchase. If the price exceeds that, we'll contribute 30% for any remaining expenditures.
